Climate Finance - What is it?

Climate finance refers to the financial flows and resources that are directed towards activities that aim to mitigate or adapt to the impacts of climate change. This can include a wide range of activities, such as investing in renewable energy sources, supporting climate-resilient infrastructure, and implementing conservation and carbon sequestration efforts. Climate finance is an important tool for helping countries and communities transition to a more sustainable future, and for enabling them to better cope with the challenges posed by a rapidly changing climate. It can also play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the Paris Agreement, which is an international treaty that aims to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius.
